After winning his first Winter X Slopestyle gold last January, 22-year-old Carlson set up a home base in Whistler with Poor Boyz Productions. Instead of spending the film season logging a series of short trips, as many skiers do, Carlson stayed put, minimized days lost to travel, and took advantage of every opportunity in Whistler.
