1. When did you start skiing? Where and why? Who got you started?

   I started skiing when I was 3 years old in Whistler. I would think I started because of my dad but I don’t really remember.

2. What was the first maneuver you mastered that got you motivated to keep improving?

   Pizza

3. When did you start competing?

   10 or so in the Sports Illustrated series.

4. When did you turn pro?

   I don’t really call myself pro but if I did I would say I turned pro this year.

5. What are the events/wins/memories that stand out most throughout your career so far?

   Wrangle the Chute in Kicking Horse Resort was the first big mountain competition that I went in; I came 3rd the first year I entered and won last season, it’s a super rad competition. I was in the Red Bull Cold Rush event and last year placed 6th overall. I just started filming with Match Stick Productions this year, stoked to be in Super Heroes of Stoke and many to come hopefully.

6. What’s your most memorable trip/session?

   Heliskiing Hoji with Eric Hjorleifson this year, he was absolutely killing it and banged out a segment in a couple of days.

7. What’s your favorite mountain?

   Whistler Blackcomb

8. Who was your inspiration growing up: within your sport?

   Eric Pehota

9. Who was your inspiration growing up: outside your sport?

   Kelly Slater

10. What has driven you to work hard and rise up beyond mediocrity?

    My dad, he calls himself the Russian coach.

11. What's your training regime like?

    Pretty hardcore.

12. What’s your favorite event to compete at? Why?

    Red Bull Cold Rush, super fun to be skiing with a bunch sick skiers.

    Well that’s pretty self-explanatory, obviously flying.
