    Aksel Lund Svindal made himself right at home in Canada this weekend, something he’s become accustom to doing. The Norwegian alpine ski racing super star took the super-G title at Lake Louise for the third consecutive year. His finishing time of 1 minute, 28.53 seconds was enough to hold off Austrians Matthias Mayer and Georg Streitberger for first place by a slim margin.

The 2014 Winter Olympics are upon us and the remote region of Sochi, Russia is set to host the twenty-second edition of the biggest winter sporting event in the world.
