Meanwhile, Oakley Women’s Star Skier Kaya Turski, fresh off a gold medal of her own at Winter X 15, topped the field for a Dew Tour win of her own.

Rampaging to History: Alex Schlopy Continues to Roll, Triumphs at First-Ever FIS Freestyle World Championship Slopestyle as Del Bosco Grabs Skier X Gold
Oakley’s young ski ripper Alex Schlopy is kickin’ arse, takin’ names and making history…ever so humbly, that is. The Winter X Games Gold Medalist, fresh off a dazzling Big Air victory as an X rookie less than a week before, charged his way into the record books as the first-ever FIS Freestyle World Championship Slopestyle winner on his home turf in Park City, Utah this past week. As the first Slopestyle event held at the World Championship event, it was hugely important for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), who’s currently considering the event for the 2015 Olympic Games. Obviously no pressure.
