Bio

Richard Permin has been under everyone’s radar for the past couple of seasons. With impressive finishes at past Tignes Airwaves, King of Style and Freestyle.ch big airs, it was only a matter of time before he appeared atop the podium, a feat he accomplished last season in Sweden at the King of Style Big Air.

Permin started skiing at the age of three and began racing at age 15. He started his freestyle career at 18 and is now spending more and more time in the backcountry. Permin skied on the Freeride World Tour last year, and slayed the Epic Face during the Verbier Extreme. His favorite skiing locale is Haines, Alaska.

The globe-trotting Frenchman spends much of his season filming. In the off-season, Permin likes to skate and surf.
