What or who got you into skiing?
So one day my mom comes back from work years ago when she was working for “hors la loi” a québec company that used to sponsor Thomas Rinfret and Thomas brought a copy of Propaganda to the office. So that night my mom’s like check this out, it’s pretty crazy stuff. So I put on the movie and I had no clue what I was watching, I even thought Candide was a girl (I was like that girl is crazy, hehe). But at the end of the movie I told my mom I wanna do that… she laughed, but in the end I did… haha.
Give us a quick recap of your season:
Alright, so my season started in Québec, I did an urban trip with Armada skier Victoria Beattie, my friend Jen Crichton and photographer Erik Seo. After that I went to Whistler for some training before the US Open. Then I went to the US Open, Nippon Open and came back to Québec. I went back to Whistler in the spring for the Masters. Then from Whistler I went to Mt. Hood for the Westcoast Supersession and then back to Whistler until the end of my season on May 9th. And now I’m going to New Zealand on July 28th.
What keeps you motivated?
Well I have goals and dreams set in my mind and they really keep me motivated to push myself and keep learning.
Who are your skiing/snowboarding inspirations and alltime athletes?
My skiing inspirations are Tanner Hall, JP Auclair and Charles Gagnier.
I also have a few other athletes that are inspirations to me: Sidney Crosby, Tiger Woods and Shaun White.

As you keep pushing your personal limits in skiing on a daily basis, have you ever looked at something you’ve done in the past and been like “damn, how did I ever do that?”
Well when I think about it now it’s pretty crazy… So when I did the Archives quad kink rail in Ottawa last season I had never landed a kink urban rail before, so I think its pretty crazy that I decided that my first one would be a quad.
As a professional skier you get around a lot. If someone could only take one trip in his or her life, where would you recommend and why?
Well, I would recommend Paris to anyone who likes good food and shopping. Plus Paris is a really beautiful city.
What’s something people would be surprised to find out about Grandma Gigi?
She was part of the Canadian Olympic ski team for the cortina 1956 games.
What brings you the greatest happiness in life?
I don’t think I’ve reached the greatest happiness yet!
If you could eliminate a personality flaw, what would it be?
Not taking things too personally.
