London Freeze: Skier Jossi Wells Stomps Way to Big Air Gold
The pre-season is raging. And Team Oakley is warming up for another epic one.
Ripper Jossi Wells displayed his form and intent this year by claiming an impressive victory at the unique London Freeze event in England – topping a field of 34 talented riders in the Superfinals.
Engaging in head-to-head action for big money and major bragging rights, Jossi threw down a switch double 10 – racking up a massive 96 points…All enough to triumph over Oscar Scherlin and PK Hunder.
As the latest event in the line of pre-season city-big-air contests, the vibrant festival, held at the old Battersea Power Station, topped off a lineup of some major events, including Freestyle.ch in Zurich, the King of Style in Sweden and the Budapest Fridge Festival.
Safe to say that Oakley’s Ski Team is ready to rock.
SuperFinals: Big Air
Gold: Jossi Wells
Silver: Oscar Scherlin
Bronze: PK Hunder
