This awe-inspiring new film takes a captivating look at the past, present, and future of freeskiing through comprehensive storytelling and engaging first-person perspectives from those who helped change the game. Throughout the film, MSP honors the heroes who have emerged over the years and pays tribute to the heroes who have been lost. “SUPERHEROES OF STOKE” showcases incredible new action from all corners of the globe, encompassing overhead powder at Chatter Creek, massive spine walls in Alaska’s Tordrillo Mountains, pillow lines and tree jibs in Japan, and massive man-made features at Whistler and Alyeska.

Skiing is an art, a collaborative effort that takes the energy of many. Even though skiing encompasses many different venues and styles, the core remains within the crew of individuals that help scout, build, transport, struggle and keep each other safe. WE follows a season as a group of the most influential skiers travel the world in search of epic powder lines, tackling the streets, and creative park features.     The 12th annual Powder Awards and Reader Poll returned to the historic – and rumored to be haunted – Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado last night. There was crazy energy in the hotel as everyone who’s anyone in the ski industry gathered for a night celebrating yet another amazing year of athletes crushing it, photographers freezing spectacular moments in time and video production teams putting it all on film for us to relive over and over again.
