Tanner Hall, Seth Morrison, Kye Peterson, Sean Pettit, Callum Pettit, and many more top Oakley skiers showed up to Red Bull Headquarters last night to celebrate the premier of CP’s new film “Believe.”
The evening kicked off at 7pm with drinks and apps outside on the Red Bull patio for all who arrived early for the movie premier. Sheldon O’Connell worked most of the afternoon to set up the dance floor / social area on the RB Patio for everyone to enjoy some tight reggae beats and mingle with industry friends. The crowd ranged from all the skiers in the film to top industry photogs Bo Bridges and Chris O’Connell.
Around 8:30pm everyone migrated into the Red Bull theater to take in the insane HD / Super 16mm experience that CP had put together. Filming was done on location in some of the best snow cover spots globally from all of last year. Tanner and crew score epic powder at early season Mt. Baker followed up by ridiculous conditions in different parts of Western Canada, Japan and Alaska.
Tanner definitely has the strongest presence with banger parts on all location shoots, but top standouts had to be up and coming phenom Sean Pettit and Seth Morrison’s totally radical lines and bomb drop flips in the backcountry.
In the end the movie was top notch, the party was a blast and it was great to see everyone before the season gets underway. Big ups to Sheldon, Jamie, Ryan and the rest of the crew at Red Bull for putting on a great event and supplying a fun Thursday night in Santa Monica. Now go out and buy the film at your local ski shop or online.
