    PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETES CYCLE FOR CHARITIES Local Utah and National Professional Freeskiers and extreme athletes unite in West Coast Bike Ride to raise money for injured and fallen athletes and their charities. Professional freeskiing athletes are on a mission the whole month of October along the Pacific Coast. The “Cycle for a Cause” charity bike ride from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California has been established to raise money and awareness for fallen and injured individuals in the freeskiing community.

    Bring your green wrist band to ward off piestero’s because we’re going hiking. The last three days of the trip were great except the wind factor. Some were driven batty by this, but it was just something you had to get used to, to be outside and ski. So just as soon as the video crew left, things seemed to fall into place for us.

    Empire Productions is pleased to announce the premiere and world release of “Transitions”, a new documentary starring Oakley’s Freeskier Simon Dumont, by filmmaker Riley Poor. The Film, which will kick off the third annual International Freeski Film Festival, is scheduled to premiere on September 17, 2009 at 7:30 PM at Old Montreal.

    Oakley’s Jossi Wells wins NZ Open Halfpipe and Oakley’s Taylor Seaton takes second. Riding with confidence on his home mountain, Wanaka’s Jossi Wells captured the pinnacle event of the season Thursday, winning the Men’s halfpipe competition at the Volkl NZ Freeski Open at Cardrona Alpine Resort.
