Simon Dumont Hosts the Third Annual Dumont Cup
Mother Nature didn’t cooperate at the third annual Dumont Cup, but that didn’t stop the event from going off. Under extremely gusty winds and frigid temperatures, the athletes bravely suited up for battle. And after a narrow podium miss at last year’s Dumont Cup, young Nick Goepper avenged his 2010 finish by taking the big “W” at Sunday River. Telluride-native Gus Kenworthy took second place, adding yet another podium to his burgeoning resume while Oakley’s own Jacob Wester took third with a first run score that stood up throughout the entire day.

Red Bull Cold Rush: Sean Pettit & Grete Eliassen Crowned King and Queen of the Hill at Intense Backcountry Freeskiing Contest
Oakley is at the forefront of the backcountry freeski scene. And we have the “King and Queen of the Hill” to prove it. O ski chargers Sean Pettit and Grete Eliassen were crowned with the top honors at Red Bull Cold Rush, a progressive backcountry freeskiiing contest in Colorado, dazzling their peers and fans alike in super challenging terrain and conditions. From March 14–16 , 21 of the world’s best skiers competed in three disciplines – Big Mountain, Slopestyle and Cliffs – and the O emerged victorious.
