The next generation of Skateboarding is here. Enter Curren Caples. Oakley’s 16-year-old skate star – and part-time surf ripper on the side – first dropped into an X Games Skateboard Park contest in 2010, raising eyebrows by charging his way into a solid fourth-place finish. Following an injury sustained at least year’s event during practice, the bright young rider is looking to make some massive noise in Los Angeles this week and usher in a new era. X Games 2012 MegaRamp Course PreviewSkate legend Bob Burnquist has returned to his home away from home: X Games- Los Angeles. The Brazilian skateboard pro is back in Los Angeles and preparing to compete in the Big Air contest; an event he has won three times since its introduction to the X Games. Burnquist is a proven veteran and has competed in the X Games since it began in 1995, earning 20 medals during that time.
