Rune Glifberg Talks BOWL-A-RAMA and its 2012 New York Debut
BOWL-A-RAMA has come a long way. Back in 2005 in Bondi, Australia, it was a small gathering of talented skaters who were putting on a demo. In order to turn the gathering into something more, someone made a run by an ATM and pulled out what would be the event’s cash prize. The event was born. This Thursday, October 6, after numerous stops over the years in Australia and New Zealand, BOWL-A-RAMA will make its first appearance in New York City, taking place at the Chelsea Pier Bowl. Thousands of spectators are expected to come out to see the finest bowl skaters from around the world fight for a chunk of the $50,000 purse.

Bob Burnquist Continues His Dominance in MegaRamp, Winning in Brazil
Competing in front of a passionate crowd in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bob Burnquist did what Bob Burnquist does in MegaRamp – he went big, was smooth in his execution and won another title. On Sunday, his winning run on the 65 was a switch backside 180 to Indy 540 – while launching nearly 21 feet into the air.
