Money: O Skate Slasher Greg Lutzka Claims New York Maloof Cup, Bags Record Prize
Cha ching. Greg Lutzka is going home with some more cash money…$160,000 to be exact. Oakley’s Skate Team Ripper scored the sport’s largest cash prize by emerging victorious at the New York Maloof Money Cup this past weekend, topping Dennis Busenitz with a frontside 270 to backside nose bluntslide to a frontside bigspin to noseslide.

The guy just is just a flat out winner…in any sport he’s in. Oakley’s famously competitive Shaun White continued his Dew Tour hot streak this past week by emerging victorious in the Salt Lake City Skateboard Vert Finals, taking down friendly rival and Dew Tour Vert leader Pierre-Luc Gagnon (PLG). Greg Lutzka took second in Skateboard Park, Ryan Sheckler Grabbed third.

Transcendence: Shaun White Triumphant In Dew Tour Return, Wins Portland Skate Vert Event
He’s back. Oakley’s Shaun “Animal” White returned to the Dew Tour this past weekend in Portland with immense hype and media fanfare. And he definitely didn’t disappoint. The Olympic Gold Medalist avenged his second place X Games 16 finish to Pierre-Luc Gagnon (PLG) by emerging victorious at the Wendy’s Invitational Skate Vert Finals on Sunday. Greg Lutka took second in the Skateboard Park contest. Sheckler took fourth.
