It’s been a busy day at Oakley Headquarters this Veteran’s Day. It was an especially good day for Bret Price, 19, from San Diego State University, who won an online contest and spent the day with skateboarding legend Bob Burnquist at Oakley Headquarters.

Price won an online contest sponsored by Frank151 and was invited up to Oakley HQ in Foothill Ranch, CA. Price and a lucky roommate began the day with a private tour of the Oakley compound before meeting hero Bob Burnquist, who presented the kids with an autographed pair of his BOB BURNQUIST SIGNATURE SERIES RECYCLED GASCANS and bamboo skate decks. Then it was off to the Oakley theater to view Bob’s section in the new Flip team video.

“The whole day has been awesome,” said Price, who grew up in Sacramento and now attends SDSU. “Bob is really chill. He’s nice and normal. Watching his new part was super cool. It was crazy to sit next to the person who you’re watching on the screen.”
