Rev Tour's West Coast Debut

The Oakley REVTour makes its west coast debut under the rainy skies in downtown Portland. HCSC reporter Preston Strout caught up with Danny Kass and Sammy Carlson. They were shooting segments for the upcoming Oakley Week with The Daily Habit on FUEL TV.

Parked on the corner of 3rd and Burnside in front of the event venue and restaurant, Berbati’s Pan. Adam, Micah and James set up the 60-foot truck and trailer in the pouring down rain. The Rolling O Lab can withstand any weather. Much like the Oakley technology they demonstrate in the O Lab on a daily basis.

Sammy Carlson came straight form MT Bachelor where he got some solid skiing in. Thanks to him making the drive over the pass to take a tour of the Rolling O Lab. And make time for an interview with Preston.

The local sales representative Rich Kaiser was at the door checking in retailers, media and the local VIP’s. He had the black Square O bracelet that earned you the green light to the O Lab Clinic, a custom goggle, and free drinks and refreshments. Special desert treats were provided by Voodoo Doughnuts, and there motto is: The Magic Is In The Hole."

After almost 300 guests went through the O Lab clinic and goggle bar. Local Grenade President Danny Kass brought his latest shred flick Boned Age and played it on the projection screen. With the drinks flowing and the crowd getting loose. Life Sava’s hit the stage with their 12 piece band.

Rich had this to say about the night, "It was insane to be able to educate, stoke, and hang with all my accounts wile bouncing to the sick grooves of Life Sava’s. Big Props to the Rolling O crew for giving what my accounts are calling “Mind Blowing” clinics in the usual Oregon drizzle. My accounts left with huge smiles, fresh goggs, and O juice running through their veins, can’t wait for next years P-Town Rev Tour!"

Stay tuned to FUEL TV January 12-16 and watch Oakley week with The Daily Habit.

Next Rev Tour stops are Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Denver.
