Oakley Tour de France Update
Today during the seventh stage, Oakley’s Luis León Sánchez dominated the final descent into Aurillac after an undulating stage through the Massif Central to win ahead of an elite group of riders containing yellow jersey Oakley’s Kim Kirchen.
“I had my chance today, but I am working for Valverde and the real goal is to take the jersey in Paris,” said Sánchez after his victory in the Cantal département of southwestern France.
“I have really learned a lot in this team, I am only 24, I hope that in three or four years I can fight for the race overall,” he added.
After seven day of race Oakley has won 6 stages and placed 5 riders on the top 9, including the 3 first places.
