Road to France: Star Cyclist Levi Leipheimer Claims Victory at the Tour of Switzerland
It didn’t look like he was gonna’ take it. But Oakley Star Cyclist Levi Leipheimer clipped rival Damiano Cunego for a grand overall victory at the Tour de Suisse after charging back from a two-minute deficit in the final stage’s individual time trial. Finishing off in 31 hours, 45 minutes, 2 seconds, he edged the yellow jersey-holding Cunego, who finished four seconds behind. With the successful result, Levi moves into the Top 20. Fellow Oakley athlete Fabian Cancellara smashed his way to his own win around the 20-mile circuit in the ninth stage – complementing an impressive time trial triumph on the first day.

Rome: Cadel Evans Races to Tirreno-Adriatico Stage Race, Cancellara Grabs Time Trial
When in Rome…Oakley Cycling dominates. O’s Aussie Star Cadel Evans emerged with the victory in the ancient city’s Tirreno-Adriatico Stage race on March 15 – after grabbing the overall race lead the previous Sunday. All while fellow Oakley’s World and Olympic Time Trial Champion Cyclist Fabian Cancellara sped his way into a San Benedetto del Tronto Time Trial triumph. “First stage race of the year is done and a good start to 2011 if I say so myself,” Cadel said, rockin’ his Radar (and new Fast Jacket™ performance eyewear off the course).
