Oakley Golf Research & Development Showroom at Skull Cup 2011
There have been a lot of firsts at Oakley’s inaugural Skull Cup tournament this week in Scottsdale, but none more impressive than the Oakley Golf Research & Development Showroom at Talking Stick Resort.
For the past decade Oakley’s golf apparel and footwear program has gone virtually unrecognized for it’s superior design, development and research. But today was a new beginning in showcasing the brand’s unmatched approach to providing the very best for today’s world class and weekend warrior golfers.
In the back conference room, Red Bird, Oakley’s North American Marketing and Sales departments brought in some of the most exclusive Oakley testing systems for the Skull Cup tournament players, club pros, accounts, sales reps and field marketing reps to witness in person. And the response was overwhelming with over 40 attendees in the first session of the Oakley Golf Research & Development Showroom. Sessions will continue on for the rest of the week and weekend at Talking Stick Resort.
To match the research & development showcase, the North American Marketing and Sales departments set-up a Spring 2011 product line store. This store not only includes our different apparel, footwear and accessory lines for this season, but also our latest artwork showcasing the brand’s newest professional golfer, Rory McIlory.
