Inaugural Oakley Skull Cup Kick-Off Dinner Party

Oakley once again does it right with the first ever Skull Cup, which is a culmination of the brand’s Pro/Am golf tournament series. Skull Cup is a “Ryder Cup” style event that pits the winners’ from each Pro/Am around the US in 2010 and pits them in an East vs. West team competition.

Last night at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona each of the competing players, team captains, Oakley Sports Marketing, North American Marketing and Sales got together for a sunset dinner at the Orange Sky Restaurant. Things kicked off with drinks in the bar lounge where everyone caught up with each other, talked some smack and took in the desert sunset.

Dinner was hosted by Oakley’s very own, seven time top-ten finisher on the PGA Tour in 2010, Ricky Barnes. The food was excellent with a perfect five course meal and a private gift for each player and captain. The private gift was a signature cigar box with the “Skull Cup” logo on the outside and the player’s name etched into the wood cover.
