Road cycling is finally back in full swing and ready for another promising season. Putting all distractions behind them, the peloton strapped in and hit the roads all around the world. The Oakley team has experienced an overwhelming amount of success already in the opening stages of the season. Racking up GC wins in Australia and Qatar, along with a growing number of stage wins and other accolades in Argentina, it’s looking like another favorable season for Oakley road cyclists.
Among a multitude of nicknames, Marianne Voss has been dubbed the Queen of Cycling. She proved why this name is fitting, once more, at the 2013 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. The 25-year-old secured her firth successive championship and the sixth of her career. Her winning time of 43 minutes was 1:34 minutes faster than runner up Kate Compton (USA).
