The 20-year-old FDJ-BigMat, U-23 World Road Champion proved why he is a rising star at the Vattenfall Cyclassics in Hamburg, Germany as he took down some of the sports most experienced veterans. Demare beat out Andre Greipel (Lotto-Belisol) with a late charge to win the 245.9km race.

Almost as remarkable was the third place ride by Italy’s Marco Aurelio Fontana. Fontana lost his seat and seat post during the final lap of the course and finished just 25 seconds behind the second place finisher, with nothing to sit on.

The Oakley Safehouse was a HUGE succes in London. Athletes, friends and family of the brand, of all kinds, came to visit us in the London Design Museum right on the south bank of the River Thames. They came before their competition to get product and healthy meals as well as after to party and celebrate their accomplishments with us. Every athlete was taken care of exactly the same and treated like family. It’s easy to see why they kept coming back. Check out some of the best photos from the final week of the London 2012 Oakley Safehouse.
