Oakley Riders and Epic ‘Icon Sender’ Obstacle to Star in NBC’s World of Adventure Sports, Nov. 14

Red Bull Rampage

It was absolutely, unequivocally, epic.

The 2010 Red Bull Rampage event near Virgin, Utah – the most insane mountain bike freeriding event on the planet – took the sport to new levels in early October…with the help of Oakley, that is. And now you get to catch a glimpse of it all on cable TV as NBC’s popular World of Adventure Sports show – and its host Pat Parnell – takes you right into the heart of the action in the barren Utah desert. It all goes down this Sunday, Nov. 14 at 12 p.m. Pacific/3 p.m. Eastern on your local NBC station. The Rampage feature is one part of the overall show, which includes portions with other extreme sports highlighted.

Zapping back to the freeride spectacle…The world’s best riders pushed the limits and detonated envelopes – due, in part, to Oakley’s artistically stunning, and undeniably intimidating ‘Icon Sender’ obstacle.

Oakley riders and Oakley’s “nutty” feature were the talk of the town. And after some super intense drama, crazy weather conditions and heart-stopping action, the Rampage crown went to no other than Oakley’s very own Cam Zink, who threw down a 360 off the Sender, sending hordes of spectators into a frenzy.

Don’t miss NBC’s view of the event this Sunday as Oakley takes center stage!
