    Bad hair, still carry my keys on a chain like a gas station attendant on my hip, and I don’t go anywhere, not even to church without my Castrol GTX hat.

  3. When did you first start racing? Where/why?

    Raced in high school, Lions Dragstrip. Because I just liked speed, had polio as a kid, couldn’t run that good, couldn’t play football in college so I got a racecar to do the runnin for me.

    The need for speed…

  5. If you weren’t ripping in your car, what kind of menial task would you want to do?

    I’d let my brain rest. My brain is like a shark, it swims all the time. Or it’ll drown. So I work continually, I never give my brain a rest.

    Ron Capps, too cute, could make me cross over.

    Watching my girls for hours trying on your Oakley sunglasses, too many great choices… Next time just send them one pair and they’ll be happy.

Vince Lomardi said winning was everything, after the loss of Eric Medlen, I disagreed. I felt that winning and safety had to go hand in hand. And I was beat up for making that statement about a true legend. My only response was maybe he never lost a man on the playing field.
