Tony Stewart is on a mission. Oakley’s Star NASCAR Driver brilliantly passed Jimmie Johnson after a restart with three laps to go to claim his third ‘NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup’ race at the Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Putting a dent in Chase leader Carl Edward’s path to a championship, Tony powered his way to within single digits of Edwards in standings. “He’d better be worried, that’s all I can say,” Tony said, rocking his Oakley eyewear and racing gear. “He’s not going to have an easy three weeks.”

Charging into the heralded ‘Chase’ in 2011, Tony Stewart hadn’t been faring very well….0-26 to be exact. That changed quick. Just two races into the 10-race road to the NASCAR Sprint Cup, O’s superstar is undefeated after claiming a resounding victory this past weekend at the Sylvania 200 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His 41st total career Sprint Cup success and his third in New Hampshire came on the heels of his first win of the season at Chicagoland Speedway a mere six days ago.

It might as well have been a drag race. Oakley’s Clint Bowyer, who charged through most of the contest at the front of the pack, was edged by a miniscule .007 seconds by fellow Oakley Star Tony Steward, who grabbed his 10th victory in 91 Nationwide series starts on Saturday. The win, also his 16th total victory at Daytona, came after a dramatic side-by-side mad dash to the finish line.
