Oakley’s James Stewart, clinched his first-ever Amp’d Mobile Supercross Series championship as well as his second Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP title when he captured his 12th win of the season this weekend at Qwest Field in front of 47,445 fans. James rode a very smooth and consistent race as he was never challenged in the main event. James Stewart now puts the AMA Supercross Championship on his long list of accomplishments but this one ranks all the way to the top as this is the pinnacle the elite of all holy grails of American Motocross closed course racing.

In the AMA Supercross class main event Ivan Tedesco grabbed the Holeshot Award and then went down in a turn and crashed, This mishap was all Bubba needed to avoid as his main competitor Chad Reed hit into the back of Tedesco’s bike, giving up his second-place position, Bubba squeezed around and went after the leader Gibson which he passed by the end of lap one.

Oakley Rider Davi Millsaps rode a strong race actually his strongest of the year as he was in podium position and then wound up tipping over when he hit a tuff block. This mishap didn’t discourage the Oakley athlete as he remounted and put on a tremendous charge through the pack which led him up to passing Windham again and rode to his first second place finish of the season.

“It has been a long season,” said Stewart. “To have this championship is a dream come true. I have waited for this my entire life. I was nervous all day. I want to thank my team and family for all of their support this year.”
