Tally 2: Ryan Villopoto Claims First Supercross Victory at Anaheim 2, Eli Tomac Takes Second Lights Win
Ryan Villopoto wasn’t going to be held down for long. Snapping dramatically out of his five-race winless streak, Oakley’s defending Supercross champ smashed his way to his first triumph on the season – topping Trey Canard to claim the second overall victory for the newly launched, game-changing Airbrake MX goggle at Anaheim 2. But it wasn’t just RV who’d claim victory in his Airbrake. Extending his win streak to three through three races this season, fellow O star Eli Tomac continued his domination of the Lights Class – edging Ken Roczen for his 10th overall career ‘W.’
