They were back to their old habits this past weekend at the Val di Sole Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill races in Italy. Both secured double titles to follow up on their previous performances at Fort William.

Among a multitude of nicknames, Marianne Voss has been dubbed the Queen of Cycling. She proved why this name is fitting, once more, at the 2013 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. The 25-year-old secured her firth successive championship and the sixth of her career. Her winning time of 43 minutes was 1:34 minutes faster than runner up Kate Compton (USA).
