Q&A

  • Up or Down First up then down.
  • Favorite discipline? True XC Racing
  • What's it mean to you to be riding for Oakley? I am fortunate to be part of a great group of positive people that I can always count on. Oakley is my longest standing personal sponsor and they continue to support me each year with the best product.
  • Where are you going to ride and train this year? Split the time mostly between Canada, Tasmania and beautiful California.
  • What is more important to you than mountain biking? Enjoying Life
  • Can you call out a single career highlight and why? I would say my U-23 World Championships Medal. I crashed after the start and had to fight my way through most of the field. With out that crash, who knows how far I could of gone. But that is part of racing.
  • Do you have any other special talents (music / write / draw / paint)? Not Much, Grew up being a punk in Tofino B.C and surfing all the time.

  • If you could be someone famous, who would you be? Fame ain't all it's cracked up to be.
  • What move / trick are you working on? A Wheelie!
  • When did you start your sport? When I was 14 in Spain
  • Strengths Technical skills and climbing

  • If I had a younger brother, one piece of life advice I would give him is: I do have a younger brother and it is not easy trying to give him life advice. I try to tell him that you make your own path in life and that nobody said is was going to be easy.
  • Any last words? Peace to the World.
