Bio
With his out-of-nowhere win at the 2001 Sea Otter Classic, Kyle was hailed as “the next Ryan Nyquist.” He squeeezes in NORBA competitions, World Cup contests, and global one-off events such as Red Bull Rampage. Kyle won the 2004 Red Bull Taxco Downtown with a 60-foot gap jump as well as the 2005 Red Bull Valparaiso Downtown.
But his most exciting competition was the 2004 World Junior Downhill Championships in France. Kyle’s third-place finish was his first World Championship podium and the only downhill medal awarded to a U.S. rider.
