The ever-impressive double backflip was enough to land Cam Sinclair the Gold a couple years ago.

But with the sport’s progression getting even gnarlier, Oakley’s Australian FMX star settled for a solid X Games Moto X Best Trick Bronze in Los Angeles this week. His 89.33 run fell just short behind a surging Taka Higashino (Silver) and an unstoppable Jackson Strong.

“I’m so stoked to get a bronze medal and now I have all three – gold, silver and bronze – from 2010, 2011 and now 2012,” Cam said, rocking his Oakley MX goggles. “I’m stoked to have all three colors.”

He’s only the fourth rider in X Games history to have landed the Double Backflip in contest – the first coming in 2010 in a glorious return from a disastrous crash the year before.
