Rally Dakar: Oakley Spain’s Joan “Nani” Roma Claims Third Stage from San Rafael to San Juan, Argentina

The Rally Dakar Series is flat out grueling.

But Oakley’s Joan “Nani” Roma of Spain (Mini) unleashed his inner beast on the Third Stage, from San Rafael to San Juan (Argentina) this past week, claiming the series stop by finishing 1:09 in front of current car category leader Krzystof Holowczyc (Mini).

“I’m very calm, because here one day you are happy and the next day you are down,” Roma said following his victory in the 208km special stage, rocking his Oakley eyewear.

The Spaniard clawed his way to the front after the first three stages – holding off a mass cluster of drivers before finishing them off in 2 hours, 26 minutes, 51 seconds.

Congratulations to Nani for the win!
