Ryan Villopoto is the third person in history to win his first premier class race and the only other person besides Carmichael to claim three-straight 250 motocross titles and then win his 450-class debut. His first championship came outdoors in 2006 following a third place in the Western SX Lites series. He backed that up with a sweep of 2007 and was poised to do it again in ’08 but came up short in the final SX Lites race.     Casey Stoner is officially back on the map. Oakley’s Aussie MotoGP star tallied his second win of the season at the Grand Prix de France on May 15. Starting at the pole position, Casey pulled away to lead the field by more than 14 seconds to victory – shooting him to a solid No. 2 spot in the Championship standings. Fellow Oakley Rider Valentino Rossi grabbed the third podium spot at 14.564 seconds behind the leader.
