Ryan Villopoto is the third person in history to win his first premier class race and the only other person besides Carmichael to claim three-straight 250 motocross titles and then win his 450-class debut. His first championship came outdoors in 2006 following a third place in the Western SX Lites series.     Fernando Alonso is on a media rampage. Oakley’s Formula 1 Superstar stormed through headlines as he claimed a solid second place finish at the European Grand Prix in Valencia (Spain) – signaling Ferrari’s resurgence and track back to being a major force. Alonso, who qualified fourth, powered up to third at the start and spent the remaining 56 laps battling Red Bull driver Mark Webber for second. The two drivers exchanged positions on three occasions before the Spaniard eventually finished the race 11 seconds behind race-winner Sebastian Vettel.

Oakley’s star MotoGP Team Rider continued his dominance this year with his fourth season win at Grand Prix of Silverstone, topping rival Jorge Lorenzo after the Spanish Standout crashed out in rainy conditions. The victory catapults Casey to the top of the World Championship Standings. Starting from pole position, Casey executed…big time…grabbing his third straight triumph by 15 seconds over Andrea Dovizioso to lead Lorenzo by a solid 18 points in the rankings.
