Ferrari’s prospects for a Championship seem all the more realistic. Dominating from start to finish, Oakley’s Formula 1 Superstar, Fernando Alonso, claimed a resounding victory at the German Grand Prix – leaving Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button in his dust. The result extends his lead in the Championship Standings to 34 points ahead of Mark Webber. “We were the fastest in yesterday’s wet conditions,” Fernando said, rocking his Oakley eyewear. “And I think that was the key factor today because it was difficult to overtake here. We were not the fastest but we kept the position. We had some good calls from the team on strategy, especially in our second pit stop when we had to react as Jenson pitted. We knew it was a long race after that, another 27 laps to end with Jenson putting on a lot of pressure, but the car was good on top speed and traction and I was able to control the tires.”
