Roaring down the stairs of the Oakley theater on his Suzuki RM-Z450, Oakley’s 2010 AMA/FIM World Supercross Champion Ryan Dungey fueled the start to an adrenaline-spiked, inspired team meeting. Not your typical Monday morning, unless you’re an Oakley employee. Ryan is the second and youngest rookie ever to take the title. Fresh off a victory on Saturday at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Ryan jumped off his bike and continued, in complete racing attire, to host the meeting.

Ryan introduced each speaker, adding humor, insight and entertainment. We were able to see a quick video where he roused his team manager, Oakley’s Anthony Paggio, joking that he was never there. The video shows Paggio sleeping in, playing ping-pong, basically bumming around, while Ryan and his family are looking for him. In truth, Ryan says Paggio is always there.

Ryan wasn’t super successful as an amateur, but Paggio saw potential and picked him for the Oakley team. Guess he was right.

Ryan ended the meeting by giving thanks to everyone and stated, “I hope to be with Oakley for life.” We hope so too.
