Budds Creek: Ryan Dungey Tallies Third Straight AMA Pro Motocross Victory in Maryland
The 2010 AMA Motocross Champion is shooting KTM into unprecedented territory. Oakley MX Star Ryan Dungey kicked back into top form and displayed his mastery of the Outdoors – sweeping the 450 Class Motos at Budds Creek for his third straight victory on the season. The resounding win elevates him further in the season standings, extending his lead to 54 points over Mike Alessi. The triumph also racks up his 17th overall – rendering Ryan No. 6 all-time in overall motocross victories.

In a monster sweep of the Supercross podium (and the Top Four overall finishes), the team, lead by resurging O star, Ryan Dungey, displayed its utter dominance in the Georgia Dome this past weekend. Rounding off the awards stage, Oakley’s defending Supercross Champ, Ryan Villopoto (RV), and James “Bubba” Stewart gripped onto their positions amongst the riders in the top of the Championship standings – capping off yet another super intense battle for 450 supremacy in the land of peaches.

Break Out! O’s Ryan Dungey Claims Supercross Phoenix, Tallies KTM First-Ever Victory
Ryan Dungey made major noise with bold moves in the off-season. Opting for a switch to KTM in efforts to reclaim his glory from 2010 Supercross and AMA Motocross Titles, Oakley’s Star Rider displayed his intentions for change. And if there were ever any doubts about his move, most were put to rest this past Saturday as he claimed a resounding Phoenix victory to hand KTM their first-ever Supercross triumph…ever. A raucous 49,236 fans watched Ryan dominate the Main Event, wire-to-wire after a grabbing the Holeshot. Although fellow Oakley riders Davi Millsaps and Ryan Villopoto were hot on his tail, the Minnesota speed demon pulled away to cruise to victory.
