The kid is simply unbelievable. Riding a dream streak of ultra-convincing MotoGP premiere class triumphs in his rookie season, young Spanish phenom, Marc Marquez, is closing in on a World Title following his brilliant display at one of his ‘home tracks’ in Aragon. Coming into race day at the MotoGP of Spain with a hard-earned Pole Position ahead of fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo, Marc topped the long-time dominant rider yet again when it counted – passing him with 10 laps remaining in the race and on to victory. His masterful performance pushed him to 39 points ahead of Lorenzo in the Championship standings with but four events left on the calendar.

When you’ve dominated 98 national NHRA events over the course of a storied career, winning becomes an expected result. But for Jeg Coughlin Jr., who instantaneously was catapulted into contention for his fifth Pro Stock Championship with his victory at Concord, every win is crucial…and appreciated. “Being the first round of the Countdown, to get a win was amazing,” said Jeg, following his 55th career Pro Stock triumph. "We had a fast car, kept lane choice all the way through the final until Jason outran us. Fortunately, we were able to get a little head start. I was able to get him on the Tree a bit and pull off this huge, huge win.”

Being thrown into the fire with the ‘Big Boys’ after riding high with an Indy Lights title at age 20 isn’t easy. But after taking his lumps, Josef Newgarden has finally broken through. The young racer, who’s been facing a less-than-ideal season with his Sarah Fisher Hartman crew, clawed his way to his first IndyCar podium finish in Baltimore this past Saturday – emphatically grabbing second place following a grueling battle. Smashing through extreme heat, six extended caution periods and multiple crashes, the young phenom found glory despite the extreme challenges before him. Starting in fifth, Josef fell back as far as 19th before powering his way forward through the field.
