Tony Stewart is on a mission. Oakley’s Star NASCAR Driver brilliantly passed Jimmie Johnson after a restart with three laps to go to claim his third ‘NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup’ race at the Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Putting a dent in Chase leader Carl Edward’s path to a championship, Tony powered his way to within single digits of Edwards in standings. “He’d better be worried, that’s all I can say,” Tony said, rocking his Oakley eyewear and racing gear. “He’s not going to have an easy three weeks.”

Big News: Oakley Motocross Superstar James Stewart Signs With Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX Team - Option to Race NASCAR
Rumors have been circulating for months. With Oakley Motocross Superstar James “Bubba” Stewart not racing Outdoors (AMA Pro Motocross Series) this year, following a turbulent Supercross season, speculation on his future with a new team swirled in the air. Well the big news is finally out. Bubba has signed a multi-year contract to race with the motocross division of Joe Gibbs Racing, JGRMX. Famous for its success in NASCAR, Joe Gibbs’ team extended its relationship with Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. – racing exclusively Yamaha motorcycles through 2014. James will also have the option to dip into car racing with the team. He’ll debut on two wheels with Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX at the opening round of the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship (Jan. 7, 2012 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim).

Definitely First: NASCAR Star Clint Bowyer Claims Victory at Talladega
You know the line. “If you’re not first, you’re last.” This year at Talladega, Clint Bowyer was definitely not last. Oakley’s head-to-toe speedster claimed his first victory of the season in killer fashion, bumping out Jeff Burton on the last lap of the race with the checkered flag in sight – powering his way for the win for a flat out drag race finish.

Cha-Ching! Motocross Star Ryan Villopoto Snatches $1 Million at Monster Energy Cup
A Supercross Title and the AMA Pro Motocross Title in the same year just wasn’t enough for Ryan Villopoto. Oakley’s Superstar Motocross Team Rider dropped into the first-ever Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas, dominating all three main events to claim a massive $1 Million at Sam Boyd Stadium. “It’s pretty unreal,” Ryan said, rocking his Oakley Signature Series Motocross Goggles. “I’m happy we were able to pull it off. To back it up next year would be hard, so if we do, it would be great. I can’t thank my team enough for this amazing victory.”

Coronation: MotoGP Star Casey Stoner Crowned with 2011 Championship Title at Home
There’s no better place to crowned a World Champion…than at home. Exhibit O: MotoGP Star Casey Stoner, who officially claimed his second World Championship Title this past weekend after dominating the Australian GP from Pole before a raucous Aussie crowd at Phillip Island Circuit. In a scenario that couldn’t be scripted any better – O’s speed demon needed only a fifth-place finish (11 points) to seal the deal on the Title. And he over-delivered, as always. Raging out of the gates – Casey claimed the lead – followed by Nicky Hayden and Marco Simoncelli.

Suzuka: Formula 1 Star Fernando Alonso Claims Second in Japan
Team Scuderia Ferrari raged into Japan with one goal: Podium. And Fernando Alonso delivered. Oakley’s Formula 1 Superstar threw down a fabulous performance in Suzuka for the Japanese Grand Prix in perfect conditions and in front of a massive Japanese crowd – finishing in a close second place after being edged by Jenson Button.
