Just two races into the 10-race road to the NASCAR Sprint Cup, O’s superstar is undefeated after claiming a resounding victory this past weekend at the Sylvania 200 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His 41st total career Sprint Cup success and his third in New Hampshire came on the heels of his first win of the season at Chicagoland Speedway a mere six days ago.

But the talent-packed motocross from team from the United States did just enough – in the nick of time – to emerge from the FIM Motocross of Nations Championship in Saint Jean D’Angely on Sept. 18 with their 22nd overall victory and the coveted Chamberlain Trophy. Lead by Oakley stars like Supercross/AMA Motocross Champion Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey, the proud team finally reclaimed the hardware – now bound for American soil. But it was far from a breeze in the French countryside.

Oakley MotoGP Star Casey Stoner extended his already commanding lead in the Championship standings on Sunday, claiming his eighth race of the season at the Aragón Grand Prix in Spain after utterly dominating the race from pole for the second straight year. He’s now a huge 44 points ahead over the defending Champ, Jorge Lorenzo.

And it all came to an action packed close with the 2011 AMA Pro Motocross Championship remaining within Team Oakley – as Ryan Villopoto’s second place finish at Pala was enough to crown him with the heralded Outdoors title. The triumph adds to Villopoto’s glorious Supercross Championship earlier this year.

    American Le Mans, meet the Ferrari 458 Italia. The legendary Italian company’s new GT challenger for 2011 snatched a huge victory for Oakley-sponsored Ferrari Team Rizi Competizione last month at Road America in Wisconsin, dazzling both the crowd and Ferrari executives on hand to witness its first win in ALMS. Following an intense four hour, 101 lap round of racing, it was the Rosso Red Ferrari with Jaime Melo and Toni Vilander that emerged on top – edging two BMW’s driven by Bill/Auberlen/Dirk Werner and Oakley’s Dirk Muller/Joey Hand. The hot new challenger from Maranello has been clawing its way into the mix over amazing competition – now sealing the deal for the team’s 21st overall series win. All in front of Ing Amedeo Felisa, CEO of Ferrari SpA and Marco Mattiacci, president and CEO of Ferrari North America.

    The Aussie just keeps on trucking. Oakley MotoGP Star Casey Stoner extended his MotoGP Championship Standings lead to a massive 243 points after claiming a resounding victory from Pole at Indianapolis MotoGP this past weekend. The Aussie speed demon smashed his way to the new circuit best lap record on the way to grabbing pole position with a 1’38.850 lap. He also clocked the new fastest lap record of 1’39.807 in his seventh win of the season and his third consecutive victory in a row following Laguna Seca and Brno (Czech). Fellow Oakley rider and American star Ben Spies claimed some glory of his own on ‘home turf’ with a resounding third-place finish. On the heels of a rare, crowded fan autograph signing at the Oakley Retail Garage onsite at the track – put on by Oakley and the Indianapolis Motors Speedway – Ben started the race in the second position.
