Nicky Hayden Media Event


Laguna Seca Raceway is home to the MotoGP Red Bull US Grand Prix, stop number eleven on the tour. And to kick things off at this year’s event, Oakley set-up two Rolling O Lab trucks, one on Ducati Island and the other in the Paddock area. The Paddock area played host on Thursday (Media Day) to the Nicky Hayden Oil Rig Signature Sunglass Release Event.

“The event was a complete success for Oakley, we where really able to speak out to all of the core media outlets in the industry as planned,” said Anthony Paggio, Two-Wheel Sports Marketing Manager.

“It was really great seeing the reaction everyone had after taking the ”" target="_blank">Oakley Rolling O Lab Tours. This was a huge success on all fronts with educating and bringing brand awareness to those editors who are deeply entrenched in the industry that will leave Laguna Seca and spread the word through each of there specific media outlets."

“Additionally, Nicky showed his true colors and personality which helped give the athlete credibility that is expected of Oakley as the leaders in eyewear.”

Over 50 media outlets made there way through the Rolling O Lab and each walked away with a Nicky Hayden Signature Series Sunglass and Media DVD. After the tours were over everyone hung out to enjoy some great food and drinks with many of the other Oakley racers stopping by to check out the Lab and Sport Chassis.
