Casey Stoner

Casey Stoner became the third premier-class world champion since 2001 with a phenomenal second season in the category; his first as a works Ducati rider. With a background in Australian dirt-track, Stoner boldly moved to Europe as a teenager, where he shone on a 125cc machine in the UK and Spain. A five-year rise into MotoGP saw two 125cc wins and five 250cc successes, and he even managed a podium result with 2nd place on only his third MotoGP outing in 2006. Stoner is the second youngest rider to win the premier class title after 1983 Champion Freddie Spencer. His debut win in Qatar in 2007 made him the first Australian rider to win in all three current GP classes. <...

    The Spanish sun warmly welcomed the Rolling O Lab when meeting up with our Spanish sales force in Barcelona. The weather forecast for the upcoming MotoGP race weekend from 2nd – 4th July 2010 at the circuit of Catalunya was more than positive and we were excited to witness another thrilling race of Oakley heroes Jorge Lorenzo, Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner.

    The World Championship leader, Jorge Lorenzo extended his advantage at the top of the standings further with his fifth win of the campaign at the Gran Premi de Catalunya. Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner finished second and third for the second race in succession.

    The 80th anniversary of the Dutch TT was marked with a Jorge Lorenzo victory on Saturday afternoon as the Fiat Yamaha rider won from pole position. The Spaniard’s fourth win of the 2010 campaign stretched his lead at the top of the World Championship to 47 points, as Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner followed him onto the podium at the TT Assen.
