If the final winter MotoGP tests in Sepang (Malaysia) were a sign of things to come this season, the Big O is set to kick some serious arse. Oakley star Casey Stoner raised eyebrows in late February as he absolutely owned the track on the final day of the second official test – rocking the two minute barrier with a shocking time of 1m 59.665s on just lap two of day three on his Honda RC212V. Even crazier: the 2007 MotoGP Champ was playing around with different settings while posting the time – the fastest ever MotoGP time around the Sepang circuit.
The 2010 MotoGP World Champion is still going…and going…and going. Starting from pole position – his third of the season – the 25 year-old led the race from start to finish as he solidified his third overall 2010 win to the cheers of friendly spectators.
