Casey Stoner’s points lead is officially solid. Oakley’s Australian MotoGP star powered past defending Champ Jorge Lorenzo in the 26th Lap at the Mazda Raceway in Laguna Seca in late July – claiming his fifth season victory and a 20-point advantage at the top of the standings. Despite some less than ideal testing, practices and qualifying, Sunday morning saw the team find their bike. An important factor in trumping Lorenzo, who logged in the fastest times all week and was clearly in form before crashing out on Saturday.

Casey Stoner is officially back at No. 1. Just how we like it. Oakley’s star MotoGP Team Rider continued his dominance this year with his fourth season win at Grand Prix of Silverstone, topping rival Jorge Lorenzo after the Spanish Standout crashed out in rainy conditions. The victory catapults Casey to the top of the World Championship Standings. Starting from pole position, Casey executed…big time…grabbing his third straight triumph by 15 seconds over Andrea Dovizioso to lead Lorenzo by a solid 18 points in the rankings.
Casey Stoner is officially back on the map. Oakley’s Aussie MotoGP star tallied his second win of the season at the Grand Prix de France on May 15. Starting at the pole position, Casey pulled away to lead the field by more than 14 seconds to victory – shooting him to a solid No. 2 spot in the Championship standings. Fellow Oakley Rider Valentino Rossi grabbed the third podium spot at 14.564 seconds behind the leader.
