Nicknamed “Six Feet of Sunshine,” Kerri Walsh and teammate, Misty May-Treanor have been called “the greatest beach volleyball team of all time.” Along with partner Misty, Kerri had one of the longest and most impressive winning streaks in professional sports after winning 89 straight matches on the AVP Tour as well as the international circuit between 2003 and 2004. In 2007 her 20 wins (domestic and international combined) tied her with Misty for the most wins in a single season. Fighting off pre-race jitters, a strange start in preliminaries and a rain delayed semi-final, Jones confirmed her spot on Team USA this summer in London where she will take on the best in the world in the 100-meter hurdles.

    In a tune-up for their Olympic marathon in August, Oakley’s Meb Keflezighi and Ryan Hall showcased their dominance of the US distance running field at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in San Diego. Keflezighi and Hall are two of the three members of the US Marathon team, already qualified for the 26.2-mile event in London this summer. Fans are getting used to the sight of Keflezighi and Hall finishing 1-2 in events in which they both compete. Keflezighi topped Hall at the US Olympic Marathon Trials in Houston, TX in January, both earning a spot in London.
