Once again Matt Thomas delivered in the only way he knows how with a top notch golf tournament in Vail, CO over the weekend. From the cart boys to the Oakley girls to the branding on course, Matt provided one of the best Oakley Golf Pro/Ams ever.

The weather held up just enough to produce a fantastic Colorado fall afternoon of golf for 150 plus regional pros and local accounts. This year’s tournament played host to 2008 Hall of Famer, Goose Gossage. Mr. Gossage graced us with his presence, putting on a display of impeccable golf and an even funnier commentary.

At 9,000 feet, Cordillera Summit was the setting once again for the 2009 Vail Pro/Am, the course is challenging, but still a great time for any golfer. A Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course, Cordillera Summit is one of the gems of the Vail area.

“The Oakley Sales Reps continue to up the quality of the Oakley Pro / Am golf series,” said Rolling O Lab Manager, Ryan Evert. “Matt Thomas set the bar high this year with attention to detail throughout. The registration set up on the driving range was the best I have seen. It was an amazing representation of the brand.”

All the golfers were treated to a proper breakfast with a nice assortment of wraps, coffee, bloody maries, and a perfect 58 degree morning tee time. Red Bull was on site with the Wings Girls and plenty of product. Each player received a VIP tour of the Rolling O Lab and an Oakley Backpack with tons of goodies.

In the end everyone left super stoked on the day’s tournament and hospitality that Matt Thomas and his crew delivered.
