Ricky Barnes Sets 36 Hole US Open Record

Oakley’s head-to-toe golfer since 2002, Ricky Barnes set the new 36 hole scoring record at the 109th US Open with a 132, putting him at the top of the leader board through round two with a -8. Barnes has been wearing the Oakley “Superdrive” golf shoe, short sleeve “Slice” polo, short sleeve “Section” polo, “Take” pant and custom Flak Jacket sunglasses w/ G30 lenses.

Ricky’s play has been extremely steady this week, hitting all but five greens and 19 of 28 fairways. He’s only made one bogey, too, and that came on the 10th hole in the first round.

“Could I have predicted I would shoot 132? No,” Barnes said. "Did I know I had it in me? Yeah. I’m starting to play well. Working hard on my game on and off the golf course.”
