Oakley Scores Third Win In A Row!
The last three PGA Tour events have been won by a player utilizing Oakley eye-protection and this past weekend was no exception with the top three places going to Oakley pros.
Rory Sabbatini – wearing a Custom Transition Flak Jacket, Polished White frames w/G40 Transition lenses won the Byron Nelson Championship in Irving, TX.
This marks the first time in PGA Golf history a player has won using Transition lenses.
Sabbatini shot a 6-under 64 on Sunday to finish with a tournament record 19-under par for his fifth PGA Tour victory.
Sabbatini, from Durban, South Africa is known on Tour as a no BS, tell it like it is bad-ass, held on to a two-stroke victory over late-charging Brian Davis – wearing a Golf Specific Flak Jacket XLJ w/G30 lenses.
Davis hasn’t won in his 143 career PGA tournaments but the 34-year-old Englishman has three consecutive top-five finishes. He was coming off fifth-place ties at The Players Championship and the Texas Open.
D.A. Points – also wearing a Custom Flak Jacket XLJ, Silver frame w/G30 lenses shot 65 on Sunday putting him at 16-under par and marking his career-best PGA Tour finish of third place.
John Seden – wearing a Custom Jet Black Radar w/VR50 Range lenses also shot 64 in Sunday’s round and finished seventh at 12 under par.
