Karrie Webb’s drought ended…in the desert of all places. Oakley’s Aussie Golfer nabbed her second straight LPGA Tour victory on March 20 at the LPGA Founders Cup in Phoenix after a long two years without a win. All on the heels of a resounding victory at the HSBC Women’s Champions in the tour’s second event of the year. With a final round of 6-under 66, Karrie powered to the top of the leaderboard and fought off fierce challenges from Americans Brittany Lincicome and Paula Creamer to emerge triumphant by a mere shot. Both Webb and Creamer shot their way to a 66, but Karrie had just enough of an edge through 36 holes to snatch the contest.
Back on Track: Ricky Barnes Grabs a Solid Fourth Finish at Challenging Honda Classic in New Fast Jacket Eyewear
Ricky’s back on track. Windy conditions and the typically treacherous PGA National in West Palm Beach, Florida made life difficult for all of the sport’s top Global stars this past week at the Honda Classic. But Oakley’s Ricky Barnes, powering his way through some back issues that sidelined him on a few occasions as of late, finished a solid fourth – throwing him right back on track. The strong 276 point finish earned him 135.00 points in the FedEx Cup Standings. His quest for his first tour victory continues to power on. And while he does it, he’ll be rockin’ Oakley’s killer new Fast Jacket™ eyewear to give him that extra edge.
Oakley for the second year in a row have our Rolling O Lab located at the end of the main entrance tent at the Phoenix Open. To say it doesn’t turn heads and make people stop by to purchase new sunglasses on the spot would be quite the understatement.
