In quite possibly one of the longest and most dramatic US Open’s in the history of the tournament, Monday’s final round of play brought the 109th addition to a close under extremely challenging conditions. Winds were swirling, greens were faster and slower at the same time, the tall rough wrecked havoc and the pressure of the playing Bethpage Black came to a head for the remaining field.

Ricky Barnes Sets 36 Hole US Open Record
Oakley’s head-to-toe golfer since 2002, Ricky Barnes set the new 36 hole scoring record at the 109th US Open with a 132, putting him at the top of the leader board through round two with a -8.

US Open at Bethpage Black 2009 Kicks Off
The US Open is back at Bethpage Black on Long Island, New York once again. Bethpage Black is only the third public course to have the honor of hosting the US Open tournament. 2002 was the first time Bethpage Black hosted the US Open and it provided a very tough course, an even tougher New York crowd and amazing golf.
